Shivakumar Ganesan is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology expert with over 18 years of experience in the industry. He is currently the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Exotel, Asia's leading cloud telephony platform, which has touched the lives of over 2 billion people in the region. Under his leadership, Exotel has grown from handling 1000 customer conversations a day to nearly 5 million conversations every single day, empowering over 2500 businesses including Ola, Uber, Ekart, Tokopedia, Lazada, Redbus, Redmart, etc. to efficiently handle their customer conversations over calls and SMS. Before co-founding Exotel, Shivakumar was the Founder and Techie at Roopit, a real-time super-fast microclassifieds platform tightly integrated with Voice and SMS. He also served as the Vice President of Products and Technology at Flipkart, India's largest online bookstore, where he helped build the tech and product teams, the backend technology for supply chain and resource planning, and a bit of their website. Shivakumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has also attended Business and Information Technology School, BIT, D.A.V. School Chennai Kodambakkam, and Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School. As a tech enthusiast, Shivakumar specializes in Backend technology and has a vast experience in building products and teams.
